Here you will find various programs, scripts, and tutorials relating to IRLP - The Internet Radio Linking Project. Using IRLP, amateur radio operators from all over the world can effectively and reliably link their radio systems together using VOIP (voice over Internet Protocol).
Many IRLP node owners wish to, "push the envelope" of their systems and incorporate custom functionality into them. Some of this extra functionality may include: - Morse Code identifier for systems without dedicated controllers
- Simple courtesy tones and hang timers
- Various telemetry including APRS data, weather data, etc.
- Messaging and announcements for local node users
- Automated processes that cause the IRLP node to do things at pre-determined times
- Complete emulation of a repeater controller
- Remote control of other peripherals at the node's location
- The list goes on, limited only by your imagination (and coding skills)...
Scripts and software I've written: - CW identifier
- Incoming audio data activity detector
- Node reboot script (via DTMF)
- Network Connectivity Checker (via DTMF)
- IRLP Watchdog Timer
- Local Time Announcer
- Serial Data Sender
- Node Uptime Announcer
